Celebrating five years...

"Offer the best excursions, protect the places we explore, inspire our guests and guides to become advocates for the environment through the experiences we offer."

It seems like yesterday that we launched the first PaddleFish Kayaking tour from the docks at the Bristol Marina in downtown Charleston. As a company, we've faced many challenges over the years; however, we managed to pull it together and persevere. Today, we are proud to offer tours from six locations in four states through three distinct brands, PaddleFish Kayaking, American Hikes and Big Blue Boat Tours. PaddleFish continues to expand with plans to open in other sustainable markets in the future. Of course, we owe our success to our guests and guides - to everyone who supported us over the years we'd like to offer a sincere thanks. In addition, to our guides, we couldn't have done it with out you! All of you truly are the heart and soul of PaddleFish. We hope to see all of you on the water...or along the trail in the coming months. Until then, be safe, travel light and enjoy the adventure.

What We Do

Since 2004, PaddleFish has focused on connecting families to nature through first-class sea kayaking tours, powerboat excursions, hiking tours and multi-day expeditions from unique destinations throughout the southeastern United States.

Today, the company offers trips through three distinct brands, PaddleFish Kayaking, American Hikes and Big Blue Boat Tours. PaddleFish caters to guests of all ages, activity levels and interests with more than 30 unique excursions, including multi-day expeditions.

Why We Do It

PaddleFish grew out of a love for the the great outdoors. We are a tight knit group of like-minded sportsmen, fishermen, paddlers, surfers and explorers who strive to inspire others to develop a passion to experience and protect the beautiful places we explore.

For us at PaddleFish, a passion for the wild and awe-inspiring places we explore commands participation in the fight to save them. We donate our time, services and a portion of our sales to environmental groups that work to protect and reverse the decline of the places we love.

Staying true to our values from day one has helped us create a company we’re proud to operate and work for. Staying focused on providing the best paddling trips, boat excursions and hiking tours has brought us success in the marketplace, and given us the ability to grow, personally and professionally.
